Surface Mount Floor outlets - Pedestal - Tombstone floor box - PF10222

PF10222 Surface Mount Floor Box, also called pedestal and tombstone electrical floor boxes by FBS.

The surface mount outlet box is a configurable solution that provides access to power outlets or low voltage jacks where are needed.  It is made out of galvanized steel and powder coated with a fine sand texture finish to virtually match any décor style. The box can be configured and loaded with four of the FIT-IN system modules of your choice, FBS61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66 and 67. No other receptacle or insert will fit into the PF10222.

PF10222 is a single compartment box designed to accept four snap in modules for power or low voltage. Both circuits cannot be combined in this floor box. For power and low voltage combined please see the PF10266 Surface mount box.

The snap-in style 15A receptacles (FBS61) are UL Listed. (Available 15amp. ONLY).  The power receptacles are supplied with three screw clamps on the back for the neutral, Hot and grounding conductors. The low voltage modules are empty bezels offered in many styles that accept standard keystone jacks (FBS64; FBS65), Panduit mini com jacks (FBS67) and Systimax M series jacks (FBS62; FBS63).

The base has a big rectangular opening that permit feeding low voltage cables and four mounting screw holes at the corners to secure it to the floor by using the appropriate screws. Two additional screw holes are provided to align and attach the base to 1-gang outlet box previously installed. (flush with the floor). See instructions for further details.

 If the box is fed with ½ or ¾” conduits, a knockout plate (Part # FBS111 - Sold separately) is required.  The plate is necessary to attach the conduit to the base of the box. The plate has one concentric knockout for ½ and ¾” Conduits.
